Rebirthing Minority Affairs in St Louis ACS

The St Louis Section of the American Chemical Society is interested in reinvigorating its Minority Affairs committee. The committee is tasked with forming connections between ACS and minority communities through outreach and mentorship and engaging minority members through networking and volunteer opportunities. Anyone who is interested or has ideas on how to meet these goals is encouraged to reach out to the new Minority Affairs committee chair Cynthia Chapple. This can succeed only with the help of our members.
Cynthia will soon contact interested members to schedule a social event (Incentive Alert: free appetizers!) to brainstorm ideas for the new committee, such as starting a mentor program with a local chemistry class. If you have ideas, connections, or just want to be a part of the team, please don’t hesitate to email. What better way to get the most of your membership dues than by getting involved!
STLACS values the support of all of it members. Thank you for taking the time to engage. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
